The Special Education Department, Government of Punjab, has announced new job opportunities for Maryam Nawaz School & Resource Centre for Autism. Applications are invited from qualified and experienced teaching and professional staff on a contract basis. These positions are offered on a lump sum salary package for an initial period of three years, which may be extended based on performance.

Available Positions

The department is hiring for multiple professional and teaching roles, including Psychiatrist, ABA/Behavior Therapist, Special Educator, Sensory Integration Specialist, Vocational Trainer, Clinical Case Coordinator, AAC Specialist, Assistant Teacher, Inclusion Coordinator, Administrative Manager, and Transportation Coordinator. Qualification and Experience

Each position has specific qualification and experience requirements. Medical and clinical posts typically require qualifications such as an MBBS with FCPS or equivalent, while teaching and therapy roles typically require a BS or MS degree in Special Education, Psychology, Speech-Language Therapy, Sensory Integration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications, such as RBT, ABA certification, AAC certification, and hands-on experience in autism and special education setting,s are mandatory for certain posts.

Administrative and coordination roles require degrees in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, or relevant technical fields, along with proven professional experience in government or reputable private organizations.

Age Limit

The age limit for most positions ranges between 25 to 40 years, while for senior medical posts such as Psychiatrist, the age limit is 30 to 45 years. Age relaxation has already been included as per Government of Punjab policy, and no further relaxation will be granted.

Salary Package

Selected candidates will be offered attractive lump sum salaries, ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 285,000 per month, depending on the post. Salary packages are fixed and will be paid on a contract basis.

Contract Duration

All appointments will be made on a contract basis for a period of three (03) years. Extension of the contract will depend on satisfactory performance and departmental requirements.
