Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced new Job Opportunities 2026 on a regular basis for suitable and eligible candidates across Pakistan. These vacancies are offered under various cadres, including engineering, management, finance, geology, IT, education, medical, and administrative fields. Applications are invited through Central Testing Services (CTS).

Available Positions

WAPDA has announced multiple vacancies including Deputy Manager (Accounts & Finance) – BPS-18, Assistant Executive Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics) – BPS-17, Assistant Directors (Environment, Social Development, HR & Administration, Legal & Litigation, IT, Public Relations), Junior Geologist, Junior Seismologist/Geophysicist, Audit Officer, Lecturers (Botany, Economics, English), Physical Education Instructor, Librarian (College), and General Duty Medical Officers.

Qualification and Experience

Educational qualifications vary by post. Required qualifications include CA, CFA, ACCA, ACMA, MBA, M.Com, BBA, BE / BSc Engineering (PEC Registered), MSc / BS in Geology, Environment, HR, IT, Journalism, MBBS (PMDC/PMC Registered), and Master’s Degrees from HEC-recognized universities. Relevant post-qualification experience is mandatory for senior and managerial positions as mentioned in the advertisement.

Age Limit

The age limit for most BPS-17 positions is 21 to 33 years, while for BPS-18 posts, the maximum age limit is 40 years. General age relaxation has already been included as per the Government of Pakistan rules. Additional age relaxation is admissible for candidates from recognized tribal areas, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and WAPDA employees as per policy.

Quota

Vacancies are available under Open Merit, Punjab, Sindh (Rural & Urban), KPK, Balochistan, AJK, GB, FATA, and Minority quotas as specified against each post in the official advertisement.

Selection Procedure

Written tests will be conducted by Central Testing Services (CTS), while interviews will be conducted by WAPDA. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.
