The Department of Fisheries, Government of Punjab, has announced new job opportunities for 2026 under the development project “Establishment of Aquaculture Malls in Punjab (2024–25 to 2026–27)”. Applications are invited from suitable candidates on a two-year contract basis under Project Pay Scale (PPS), which is extendable subject to performance and project requirements.

Available Posts

The Department of Fisheries Punjab is hiring for multiple positions including Manager Administration/HR/Business Affairs (PPS-10), Manager Finance (PPS-10), Equipment Technician (PPS-5), Electrical Technician (PPS-2), Chauffeur (PPS-2), and Tractor Operator (PPS-2). These posts are offered at different PPS levels with competitive monthly salaries.

Qualification and Experience

For managerial positions, candidates must possess an MA in Economics, an MBA, an MA Human Resource Management, or equivalent qualifications from HEC-recognized universities, along with at least five years of relevant experience. Finance Manager applicants must have ACCA, CA, CFA, CIMA, or CMA qualifications with required experience.
Technical posts require DAE in Electrical or Mechanical, Matric with electrician certification, or relevant driving licenses with experience, depending on the post applied for.

Age Limit

The age limit varies by post. For managerial positions, the age limit is 28 to 45 years, while for technical and support staff posts, the age limit ranges from 21 to 35 years. General age relaxation will be provided as per Government of Punjab rules, including 5 years for males and 8 years for females.

Place of Posting and Vacancies

Selected candidates will be posted in Lahore and Muzaffargarh. Vacancies are distributed post-wise and location-wise, including multiple positions in Muzaffargarh for technical and operational roles.

Salary Package

The Department of Fisheries Punjab offers attractive salaries under PPS. Managerial positions carry a salary of up to Rs. 600,000 per month, while technical and support staff positions offer salaries ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month, depending on the post.

Contract Type

All appointments will be made on a purely contract basis under PPS till June 2027, which may be extended based on performance and project requirements. These jobs do not confer any right to permanent employment.
