Rescue 1122 has announced an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Internship 2026 for candidates holding medical and allied health qualifications. This internship is offered by the Emergency Services Department, Government of Punjab and aims to provide hands-on emergency medical training to young professionals across Punjab.

Applications are invited for the post of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Intern. This internship provides hands-on training in emergency response, patient handling, and rescue operations under the supervision of Rescue 1122 professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Paramedical, or Allied Health Sciences from a recognized board, council, or university with at least 2nd Division. Applicants must possess a Punjab domicile. The age limit for this internship is 18 to 30 years.

District Wise Vacancies

Rescue 1122 EMT Internship 2026 has been announced for multiple districts of Punjab, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Vehari, and other districts. Vacancies are distributed district-wise as per departmental requirements.

Selection Procedure

The selection process will be conducted through the Central Testing Service (CTS). Eligible candidates must apply online through the CTS website. Only complete applications fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be accepted. Written, psychological, and physical tests will be conducted, followed by a final interview at Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore. Selected interns will undergo basic rescue training at the Emergency Services Academy, Lahore.

Medical and Physical Requirements

Candidates with vision less than 6/6 in each eye (without glasses), color blindness, BMI 30 or above, or those suffering from Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, or RPR positive conditions will not be shortlisted at any stage. Preference will be given to candidates having a height of more than 5 feet 6 inches, and the minimum chest size must be 33 inches.

Stipend and Benefits

Selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000 during the internship period. This internship offers valuable professional training and real-time field exposure in emergency medical services.
