The Government of Pakistan, under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, has announced multiple job vacancies through the Directorate General of Special Education. These positions are offered on a temporary basis and will be filled strictly according to government rules and merit-based selection.

Available Positions

The announced posts include Assistant (BS-15), Junior Instructor (BS-14), Vocational Teacher (BS-14), Prosthetic/Orthotic Technician (BS-11), Mobility Instructor (BS-11), and Driver (BS-04). A total of 15 vacancies are available across different categories.

Gender Eligibility

Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. Quotas for women, minorities, and persons with disabilities will be observed as per government policy. Some vocational teacher positions are specifically suitable for female candidates based on qualifications.

Age Requirement

The age limit varies by post. For Assistant (BS-15), the age limit is 18 to 28 years. For Junior Instructor, Vocational Teacher, Prosthetic/Orthotic Technician, and Mobility Instructor, the age limit is 18 to 25 years. For Driver (BS-04), the age limit is 18 to 30 years. A general age relaxation of up to 5 years will be granted according to government rules.

Educational Qualification

Applicants for Assistant (BS-15) must hold a Bachelor’s degree and will be required to complete a 6-week basic IT course from NITB after selection. Junior Instructor candidates must have a Matric along with a 3-year diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Vocational Teacher applicants must have Matric with a relevant vocational diploma, while female candidates may apply with diplomas in sewing, tailoring, embroidery, or knitting. Prosthetic/Orthotic Technician candidates must have a Matric with three years of relevant experience. Mobility Instructor applicants must have an FA/FSc along with two years of teaching experience in schools for visually impaired students. Driver candidates must be Primary pass with a valid HTV driving license.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made purely on merit. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written tests and interviews. Tests and interviews will be conducted in Islamabad. A test fee of Rs. 500 per post is applicable.
